Sky Mayhew

Sky Mayhew, MPA, NIC, IDI QA, is a seasoned professional in sign language interpretation and community engagement with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as the Team Lead for ASL/English Interpreters at Orbis Inc, since December 2023, Sky also operates a freelance interpreting business since 2011. Previous positions include a Sign Language Interpreter for CACI International Inc, as well as Community Liaison at The Centre for Effective Altruism, where responsibilities encompassed supporting organizations in social impact initiatives. Additional roles at Gallaudet University included consulting as a Field Experience Project Consultant, instructing undergraduate courses, and managing professional development programs. Sky holds a Master of Public Administration from Gallaudet University and a BA in ASL/English Interpreting and Spanish from Goshen College.
