Scott Coombs

Scott Coombs has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Scott most recently served as the Director of Information Technology at Orbis Operations, LLC starting in June 2022. Prior to that, from February 2021 to May 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant.

Before their role as an Independent Consultant, Coombs held various senior positions in IT operations. From July 2019 to January 2021, they were the Senior Director of IT Operations at Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC. Prior to that, they held a similar role as the Senior Director of IT Operations at Exostar from November 2017 to 2019.

Coombs also has experience as a Director of Information Technology at Logi Analytics from December 2010 to November 2017. Scott held the same title at Group 1 Software, Inc. from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they served as the Vice President of Operations at The Signature Group, Inc. from 1999 to 2005.

In the earlier years of their career, Coombs held IT leadership roles at Aether Systems, Inc. from 2000 to 2003 and Descartes Systems Group from 1995 to 1999. Scott also served as the Director of Operations at Roadshow International, which was later acquired by Descartes Systems Group.

Scott Coombs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University. Scott attended the university from 1986 to 1991.
