Monica Steger

Monica Steger has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Monica currently holds the position of Project Manager at both Contiem and Orbis Technologies, Inc., starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Writer and Musician under their own company named Harmonic Composure since May 2021. From July 2012, Monica worked as a Freelance Musician and Educator at Harmony Hall, offering lessons and coaching in various musical instruments and subjects. Monica also worked as an Editing and Production Assistant and Customer Service Representative at Plank Road Publishing from June 2015 to March 2021. Additionally, Monica served as a Recorder Instructor at Prairie Hill Waldorf School from September 2013 to May 2015. Lastly, they held the position of Director of Music at St. Bernard's and St. Henry's Churches in Watertown, WI from June 2006 to June 2012.

Monica Steger has a diverse education history. In 1992, they earned a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) degree in Flute Performance and Music Theory from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Then, they pursued further studies and completed a Master of Music (M.M.) degree in Flute Performance and Music Theory from Indiana University Bloomington in 1998. Additionally, Monica obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Musicology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a starting year of 2000.

More recently, in 2021, Monica acquired a Certificate in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing from the Become A Technical Writer program.

In terms of certifications, Monica has obtained several valuable credentials. Monica received the Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022. Furthermore, they attained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification twice, in September 2022, from both the Project Management Institute and LinkedIn. Monica has also obtained various other certifications related to project management, business acumen, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, and well-being as a leader, all from LinkedIn in April 2022.
