Peter Ortez is a seasoned professional in the deep tech investment landscape, currently serving as a Board Observer at Found Energy and as Principal at Munich Re Ventures since 2019. With a focus on transformative solutions in areas such as space, energy, and industrial decarbonization, Peter has held various significant roles, including Senior Associate and Board Director across several organizations like Starfish Space and Salient. Previous experience includes project management in the aerospace and defense sector at Renaissance Strategic Advisors and early-stage investment evaluation at Data Collective. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from The Wharton School.
