Orbit is an Italian software company and the developer of Orbit Open Platform, a modular operational-resilience and workflow-orchestration platform for regulated and mission-critical organizations.

Today, Orbit brings together resource and dependency mapping, risk assessment, business impact analysis, business continuity, disaster recovery, exercise management, incident and crisis response, mass notification, reporting and analytics in one scalable environment, available as SaaS and on-premise.

Orbit helps organizations understand what matters, anticipate disruption, activate approved response plans, coordinate decisions, maintain evidence and accelerate recovery.

Orbit is controlled by NUBURU, Inc. through Nuburu Defense LLC. Within the NUBURU Defense & Security platform, Orbit is being positioned as the software orchestration, validation, workflow, evidence and API-integration layer. Its role is to connect authorized data, assets and systems; transform events into decision-ready information; support human-governed workflows; and generate audit-ready records.

This expands Orbit’s relevance across enterprise, financial services, critical infrastructure, government and defense environments—while complementing, rather than replacing, existing customer systems.
