Austin John is a Biomedical Engineer at Gyroscope Therapeutics, specializing in the development of AI image segmentation tools and subretinal delivery systems for ocular gene and cell therapies since September 2022. Prior experience includes self-employment as a Freelance Graphic Designer since June 2018 and a Research Assistant role at The Johns Hopkins University, where Austin designed a digital slide management system in collaboration with the Academy of Natural Sciences. Additionally, Austin contributed to Brain Computer Interface research at Temple University, focusing on environmental control for ALS patients. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University, expected graduation in 2024.
