Mark Rossney

Mark Rossney is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in product development and technical leadership across various medical device companies. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Gyroscope Therapeutics since August 2022, Mark leads the development of innovative gene therapy delivery devices. Previously, as a Staff Engineer at Globus Medical, Mark was instrumental in the successful launch of the company's first cephalomedullary nail and provided technical oversight on multiple trauma products. Mark also held senior roles at Essential Medical, Inc. and DePuy Synthes Spine, leading projects in vascular closure devices and spinal implants, respectively. Mark began their career in product development at Neapco, Inc. and Load Rite Trailers, Inc., focusing on driveline products and recreational trailers. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
