Bryan Shive has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Bryan started their career as an Engineering Intern - Sales Support at GE Energy in 2006, where they gained experience in cost modeling and turbomachinery processes. Bryan then joined Air Products in 2007 and held various roles, including Process Controls Engineer, Mechanical Systems Engineer, and Project Engineer. During their time at Air Products, Bryan was responsible for designing control systems, specifying piping and valves, and managing plant improvement projects. In 2014, they joined Linde Engineering North America Inc. as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, where they provided oversight for a large ethylene project. Currently, Bryan is working at Orbital Engineering, Inc., where they have held positions such as Mechanical Department Manager, General Manager, and Vice President of Engineering. In their current role, they are involved in business development, contract review, and strategic planning.
Bryan Shive received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Bryan further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Engineering (ME) in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, and they completed their studies there from 2007 to 2010.
