David Sterner

David Sterner, PE, MBA, serves as Treasurer and Stagehand at IATSE Local 97, with a robust background as an ETCP certified Entertainment Electrician encompassing power, lighting, flyrail, camera operation, and video switching. Currently, David holds the position of Secretary-Treasurer at Orbital Engineering, Inc. and has previously served as Senior Project Manager II at CHA Consulting, Inc., Section Manager and Principal Engineer at Mesa Associates, Inc., and Principal Electrical Engineer at WorleyParsons. With experience as Manager of Electrical and Controls Engineering at RPA Engineering and various engineering roles at WorleyParsons, David began his career in the performing arts sector at the Center for the Performing Arts and interned in CAD drafting and engineering. David earned an MBA from Alvernia University and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University.
