Richard Delf

Remote Sensing Scientist at Orbital Micro Systems

Richard Delf is a remote sensing scientist at Orbital Micro Systems. Richard has also worked as a visiting researcher at Stanford University and as a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh. Richard has also worked as a research student at the British Antarctic Survey. Richard's research focuses on developing novel radar processing algorithms to characterise the internal structure and hydrology of polar glaciers using ice-penetrating radar.

Richard Delf received their PhD in Glacier Geophysics from The University of Edinburgh. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science in Exploration Geophysics from University of Leeds and their Bachelor of Science in Natural Science/North America from Lancaster University. Richard also has a degree in Natural Sciences/North America from McMaster University. Finally, they are a graduate of Ripon Grammar School.

Some of their coworkers include Geoffrey Sasaki - Instrument Scientist, Eryan Dai - Senior Soil Moisture Scientist, and Glenn Grant - Remote Sensing Data Scientist, Project Manager. Richard Delf reports to Albin Gasiewski, Chief Scientist.
