Reg Harnish

Reg Harnish has held multiple advisory board roles within the cybersecurity industry, including at CYRISMA, Ramagine, CHAaSM, and FortMesa. Reg also founded Slingshot Cyberventures in 2020, a leading advisory services firm for early-stage cybersecurity companies. In 2011, they founded GreyCastle Security and served as CEO for three years until 2018, during which the company experienced eight years of rapid growth and gained industry recognition. Reg was also a fellow at the National Cybersecurity Institute and an advisory board member at the University at Albany, SUNY, for cybersecurity. Most recently, they became a venture partner at StartFast in 2021.

Reg Harnish studied computer science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Reg has also obtained several certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, and ITIL Service Essentials from institutions such as ISACA and ISC2.
