Matthew Peterson

Matthew Peterson is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in design and manufacturing. Currently employed at Orbitform since February 2019, Matthew specializes in orbital and impact riveting machine design, leads an additive manufacturing cell, and manages spare parts and tooling design in collaboration with customers. Previous roles include Media Systems Video Associate at Wolfram, where Matthew contributed to video and script-based projects, and various positions in customer service and teamwork at Meatheads, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Events at the Refinery. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a brief academic period at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where Matthew engaged in research on shear phenomena in materials.
