Will Hunnam

Will Hunnam has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and roles. Will is currently the Managing Director of Forza Doors Ltd, where they lead the specialists in the preparation of wood veneers and timber for doors and frames in the commercial interior construction market. Will also operates a Fire Door labeling scheme and is FSC & PEFC certified.

In 2016, Will founded Larkspur Assets, an investment vehicle and consulting company. Will offers operations executive services in areas such as technology, start-ups, financial services, engineering, oil & gas, and energy. Will focuses on delivering execution and leadership with a hands-on approach.

Will has also been involved with Orbitt, where they served as a Non-Executive Director starting in 2021 and previously as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder from 2016 to 2020. Orbitt is a trade and investment platform focused on Africa, providing a safe and professional ecosystem for members to connect with the right counterparts for investment opportunities.

In 2021, Will became an Entrepreneur through Acquisition at Novastone Capital Advisors, launching a fund focused on acquiring a majority stake in a UK-based engineering service company. Will also briefly served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Working Capital Associates, a female-led company specializing in transactional finance to African and LatAm exporters.

Prior to these roles, Will held executive positions at Capro Ltd (UK), where they developed management partnerships with businesses and bridged the gap to private equity investors. Will was also the Chief Executive Officer of First African Gold Ltd, an exploration company in Ghana, and held influential positions at 'Boutique Investment Fund' and Akoma Minerals Ltd, both involved in gold exploration projects.

Will's earlier career includes various operational engineering positions at Shell, where they managed multidisciplinary teams and directed complex engineering operations for shipping hazardous cargo worldwide.

During their time at Cambridge, their field of study included Private Equity & Venture Capital, Start-up Company Working Capital, and Project Finance.
