Dan Stypa has a diverse work experience in various roles within the education and travel industries. Dan started their career as a Housing & Residence Life Intern at the University of Central Florida in 2009. From there, they worked as an Assistant Hall Director and Programming & Advising Graduate Assistant at the University of Tennessee, where they managed programming budgets and co-chaired the Resident Assistant Training Committee. In 2010, they became a Residence Life Coordinator at the University of South Florida, overseeing the operations and management of a 720-student residential community. In 2012, they joined Rice University as an Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs, responsible for alumni travel, lifelong learning initiatives, and international programs. Dan later became the Associate Director of Alumni Programs, where they had primary oversight of the Rice Alumni Traveling Owls program and affinity outreach programming. Currently, Dan is working at Orbridge as the Vice President of Sales, where they partner with alumni associations and membership organizations to promote educational travel experiences and ensures a high-quality guest experience.
Dan Stypa obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communications from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2008 to 2010.
