Michael Hwang

Michael Hwang is an experienced product and software engineer currently serving as the Head of Product at Orca since May 2021, focusing on developing a leading automated market maker in the crypto space. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Spruce Health, developing a digital care platform for medical practices, and contributed to the surgical robotics team at Verily Life Sciences. Previous experience includes software engineering roles at Google, BlackRock, and the University of Michigan Center for Entrepreneurship, where notable achievements included leading a successful hackathon team and enhancing the center's online presence. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and furthered education at ICON Collective and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
