Alexander Ruben

Alexander Ruben is an Electronic Engineer currently working at ORCA Computing since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Robotics Hardware Prototyping Engineer at DeepMind from November 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities involved prototyping and design across multiple engineering disciplines. At Vantage Power, from January 2020 to November 2021, Alexander contributed as a Graduate Electronic and Electrical Engineer focused on R&D for electric vehicles and battery systems. Earlier, Alexander led the electrical team as Chief Electrical Engineer at Cambridge University Eco Racing during the 2019 World Solar Challenge project. Early career experiences include internships at Carallon Ltd, focusing on FPGA development and hardware engineering. Alexander holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electronic and Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2019, and completed A Levels at Bancroft's School.
