Thien-An Nguyen

Thien-An Nguyen is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ORCA Computing since January 2024. Prior experience includes holding the positions of SVP of Design and Director of Photonics at GXC from 2018 to December 2023, where management of technology development, R&D, and product management across high-value programs occurred. Thien-An's academic background includes a PhD, a Master's degree, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Active Nano-Devices, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and co-founder of Flok. Thien-An's technical expertise spans photonics, algorithm development, and networked system design.
