Peter Spellward

Peter Spellward has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Peter currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Orca Security. Prior to this role, they worked at Cisco as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, where they played a crucial role in the development of Cloud Security functions within Cisco's SASE offering. Peter joined Cisco through the acquisition of Cloudlock, where they served as an Engineering Group Lead and was responsible for the design and development of various Cloudlock products and solutions. Before Cloudlock, Peter co-founded Innovode Ltd and served as the Co-Founder and Executive Director, leading the company in bringing disruptive cloud technologies to the market. Additionally, Peter has held positions at CA Technologies, Orchestria, Vivista, Alterian, and BOM Ltd, where they worked on various software development projects and contributed to the advancement of their products and solutions.

Peter Spellward completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 1994 and 1997. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Advanced Machine Learning and Data Mining from the University of Bristol in 2003 and 2004.
