Sam Shah has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2010, they served as the Clinical Director at The Ivory Clinic. In 2016, they became the Chief Dental Officer at East Village Dental. In 2020, they took on multiple positions, including Chief Medical Strategy Officer at Numan, Chair of the Steering Committee at HETT Show, Founder and Director at the Faculty of Future Health, and Editorial Board Member at IJS Publishing Group. In 2021, they became a Senior Advisor at freuds and an Honorary NHS Consultant at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. Sam also started their role as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire in 2021. Lastly, in 2022, they became a Visiting Lecturer at UCL Global Business School for Health. In 1999 to 2005, Sam Shah attended Queen Mary University of London and obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with a field of study in Dental Surgery.

From 2000 to 2001, Sam Shah also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and studied Business Italian, although the field of study for this degree is not specified.

In 2007 to 2009, Sam Shah pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Economics with Public Health and a Diploma in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London.

Following that, in 2007 to 2009, Sam Shah obtained an Oral Health Certificate in Dental Public Health from the University of Birmingham.

In 2008 to 2009, Sam Shah also received an Oral Health Certificate in Dental Public Health.

Later, in 2009 to 2013, Sam Shah pursued a qualifying Law Degree at The University of Law and specialized in Law.

In 2012, Sam Shah attended the University of Leeds and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Leading in a Clinical Context.

In 2018, Sam Shah completed a Course in Digital Strategy & Marketing at City, University of London.

The year 2018 to 2019, Sam Shah pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership at Imperial College London.

Finally, from 2019 to 2020, Sam Shah attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and obtained an MPLA degree in Major Programmes Leadership.

Additionally, Sam Shah has obtained various certifications, including an Infrastructure & Projects Authority Assurance Reviewer certification from the Cabinet Office in October 2019, an AgilePM® Foundation certification from APMG International in September 2019, and a Fellowship from the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management in December 2017. Other certifications include a Founding Fellowship from the Faculty of Clinical Informatics in September 2017 and Membership in the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP (UK)) in January 2016. Sam Shah is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, with a Fellowship in Dental Surgery obtained in July 2015, and a Specialist in Dental Public Health recognized by the General Dental Council. Additionally, Sam Shah is a Fellow of the UK Faculty of Public Health since June 2015. Other certifications include a Registered Primary Care Provider certification from the Care Quality Commission in January 2011, and a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in March 2009. Sam Shah also holds a Membership of the FDS from The Royal College of Surgeons of England obtained in October 2007 and a Certificate in Vocational Training from Health Education England in July 2006.
