Thomas Leineweber has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Thomas started their career in 2000 as a Finance Analyst for Lehman Brothers Inc. Thomas then worked as a Foreign Practice Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Paris from 2001 to 2004. In 2005, Thomas was a Summer Associate at GE Energy / Nuovo Pignone in Florence, Italy. Thomas returned to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as a Summer Associate in New York & Hong Kong in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Volunteer Program Associate at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Center for Human Rights. Thomas then joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as an Attorney from 2007 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Founding Member of TechGC and a Deputy General Counsel at General Assembly. Thomas later served as General Counsel at General Assembly from 2019 to 2019. Currently, Thomas Leineweber is the General Counsel at Orchard.
Thomas Leineweber received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Georgetown University Law Center, studying from 2004 to 2007.
