Trevor Patch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Trevor began their career in 2008 as a Customer Service Representative at LifePics. In 2010, they served as the Head Baseball Coach at Peak to Peak Charter School. The following year, Trevor was a Student Teacher at Cornerstone Elementary. In 2011, they worked as a Video Editor at The Unreasonable Institute, where they helped produce and edit a web series. In 2012, Trevor joined the Colorado Center for Health and Sports Science as a Statistical Analyst, analyzing data for an academic study. The same year, they also started working for the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Trevor held various roles within the organization, including Coordinator of Baseball Analytics, Manager of Baseball Research and Development, and finally, Director of Baseball Research and Development. During their time with the Rockies, Trevor established the data science, business intelligence, and software development department and managed the Major League advance scouting process. In 2021, they joined Orchard as the Manager of Data Science before being promoted to Senior Manager of Data Science and Business Intelligence in 2022.

Trevor Patch has a diverse education history. Trevor attended Peak to Peak Charter School from 2000 to 2010, where they pursued a general curriculum without any specific degree or field of study. Following their high school education, Trevor enrolled at The College of Wooster in 2010, majoring in Mathematics. However, they did not complete a degree at The College of Wooster. Trevor then transferred to Colorado State University in 2011 and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Trevor continued their academic journey at Northwestern University from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Science.
