GOÄ coding in Germany is still largely a craft.
Good craft, to be fair, but dependent on individual experience, implicit knowledge, and the availability of specific people.

The outcome is well known: revenue leakage, audit overhead, staffing pressure and billing results that are hard to explain with confidence.

OrdoMedIQ closes the digital gap between medical documentation and GOÄ billing.
We are building a rule-based, deterministic GOÄ engine that translates medical documentation into billable, auditable data, transparent through an explain trail and interoperable via FHIR.

Our principle is simple:
Rules before AI.
AI may assist. The rule set decides.

Who we build for

• Hospitals / Medical Care Centers (MVZ)
less revenue leakage, fewer manual review loops, leaner processes, defensible documentation

• Billing providers
§12-validated PAD billing, scalable for inpatient use

• Software & Health-IT partners
GOÄ competence as a service: specialty-specific mapping, rules, combinations, and analogue valuations as testable logic, not institutional knowledge risk

What is being built

• Explorer
case-based, specialty-optimized, GOÄ-centric views of contextually relevant data
(structured data + documents)

• Engine
rules and validations including factors and analogue logic, fully documented via an explain trail

• Customizer
organization-specific policies without bending the underlying rule set

The new GOÄ will not arrive as a “software update.”
It will be a structural test.

We are building the architecture that makes this transition manageable:
shadow billing for the new GOÄ, versioning, and traceability, designed in from day one.
