Oreejoy MedTech Private Limited is an IIT Gandhinagar–incubated medtech startup focused on Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) solutions for gait and mobility assessment, especially through its INSTROLE smart insole platform.

Instrole is a wearable device that quantifies gait while sensing pressure profile at cardinal points below one’s foot during walking. It quantifies gait in terms of several indices, e.g., Step Time, Stride Time, Cadence, %Stance, %Swing, Double Limb Support Time, etc. that has been calibrated against the currently existing state-of-the-art gait quantification tools. It (a) is cost-effective and user-friendly, (b) can predict and detect falls, (c) can quantify and identify various gait disorders, (d) can be interfaced with peripheral modules to offer gait rehabilitation. It integrates with mobile platforms for real-time monitoring and personalized recommendations.
