Robin Wright is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in family and juvenile law. Currently serving on the Committee of Paralegal Assessors at the Oregon State Bar since August 2023, Wright previously contributed to the Paraprofessional Licensing Implementation Committee (PLIC) from October 2020 to May 2023, where efforts focused on establishing a regulatory framework for paralegal licensing to enhance access to justice. As a shareholder at Gevurtz Menashe from 2002 to February 2023, Wright specialized in various family law matters and represented clients in juvenile court cases. Wright also served as a Circuit Court Judge Pro Tempore for the Washington County Circuit Court from 2000 to 2001, overseeing juvenile court matters. Prior legal experience includes representing indigent clients with Metropolitan Public Defenders, Inc. Wright holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Reed College.

The mission of the Oregon State Bar is to serve justice by promoting respect for the rule of law, by improving the quality of legal services, and by increasing access to justice. The Oregon State Bar (OSB) was established in 1935 by the Oregon Legislative Assembly to license and discipline lawyers, regulate the practice of law and provide a variety of services to bar members and the public. The bar is a public corporation and an instrumentality of the Oregon Judicial Department, funded by membership and program fees. It is not a state agency and does not receive any financial support or taxpayer dollars from the state’s general fund.
