Peter Rockwell

Peter Rockwell is a graphic designer who currently works for the Oregon Symphony. Peter has also worked as an assistant art director for Gerber Advertising, Freelance Marketing and Creative Services, and Providence Health Systems.

Rockwell began their career in 1989 as an assistant art director for Gerber Advertising. Peter prepared press-ready artwork and typography for agency creative teams. Peter's clients included Louisiana-Pacific, Franz Bakery, United Grocers, GI Joes Sports and Auto, Newport Bay, Taco Time, and Key Bank of Oregon. Peter's duties included drawing marker comps, designing photo illustrations, and directing photo shoots.

In 2020, Rockwell began working as a freelance marketing and creative services art director/graphic designer. Peter's duties include graphic design, strategy, creative concepting, typography, and presentation, with a focus on sales, and eye-catching design that invokes engagement. Peter is also responsible for effective communication with teams and individuals, both written and verbal. Additionally, they collaborate productively with writers, producers, and creative teams. Peter has strong organizational skills using Microsoft Office Suite and is proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud software for print, web, video, and audio.

Peter Rockwell's educational career involved studying illustration at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and graphic design at the School of Visual Arts.
