Chris Devers

Chris Devers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Web Developer for Addison-Wesley, where they focused on web design and ensuring accessibility across various platforms. In 2001, Devers became a Bioinformatics Programmer at Genzyme, contributing to a web-based genome analysis application. Chris then took on the role of Web Site Administrator at Skillcheck, where they were responsible for maintaining and developing corporate websites.

In 2002, Devers became an Advertising Systems Administrator at Boston.com, overseeing the administration of advertising systems and other network services. Chris then joined the Free Software Foundation as an Assistant Editor, where they copy edited the GNU Project's Using GCC manual and assisted in clarifying technical ambiguities.

Chris Devers attended Hanover High School from 1990 to 1994. After completing high school, they then enrolled at the University of South Alabama from 1994 to 2000.
