Don Jackson

Don Jackson has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology. Don most recently worked as a Cloud Engineer at O'Reilly since 2023. Prior to that, they spent two years as a Sr. Cloud Operations Manager at True Fit Corporation and two years as a Cloud Operations Manager at the same company.

Before joining True Fit Corporation, Don worked at Nanigans for six years as a Manager, IT Operations. In this role, they were responsible for daily IT operations, processes, and policies, while also maintaining a hands-on role as a systems engineer.

Don also has experience at Zoom Information, where they worked for three years as a Senior Systems Engineer II. In this role, they were a senior lead for technology operations, with responsibilities including enterprise monitoring, 24x7 support, data center operations, and direct support of agile development teams.

Earlier in their career, Don worked at BuyerZone.com as an Information Technology Manager for one year, during which they oversaw the technical operations of the company's technology infrastructure systems. Prior to that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at the same company for five years.

Don's early experience includes a role as a Systems Administrator at Brockton Plastics, where they oversaw the support of all information technologies and designed and implemented security infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Don has developed expertise in various technologies and platforms, including enterprise LINUX, Windows Server, MySQL, MSSQL, Apache, and more.

Don Jackson attended Arizona State University from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Political Science but did not earn a degree. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Information Systems from Susquehanna University from 1999 to 2002.
