Lee Atchison

Lee Atchison has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Lee is currently the Cloud Architect, Cloud Strategist, and Owner of Atchison Technology LLC, a role they have held since June 2020. Lee is also an Author at Executive Book Publishing since May 2023.

In addition, Lee has contributed to various publications and platforms. Lee is a Contributing Author at Cloud Native Now since September 2022 and at InfoWorld since June 2021. Lee serves as a LinkedIn Learning Instructor since January 2021. Furthermore, Lee hosts the Modern Digital Business Podcast, a platform that assists corporate technology decision-makers and executives in digital business creation and modernization.

Previously, Lee was an Author at O'Reilly Media from June 2016. Lee also held key positions at New Relic, Inc., where they contributed significantly to the company's cloud product strategy and championed its cloud strategy as a Principal Cloud Architect and Senior Director of Strategic Architecture. Prior to that, Lee played instrumental roles at Amazon.com, including Principal Technical Program Manager, Senior Manager, and Sr. Manager for various technology and retail services.

From 1982 to 1987, Lee Atchison attended the University of Minnesota, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same university. Their primary field of study was computer science, while they simultaneously pursued studies in electrical engineering.
