Scott Carpenter

Scott Carpenter has a solid background in software development, with experience in various programming languages and platforms. Scott started their career at Cargill in 1997, where they focused on application integration and enterprise software development, working with Java, Unix/Linux, and databases. After 15 years, they joined The Nerdery in 2013, where they continued their software development work, specializing in web development using Python, Django, Java, and JavaScript. Scott also had experience with Amazon cloud services and databases. In 2017, they moved to O'Reilly Media, where they currently work as a Software Developer.

Scott Carpenter received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Stuff from St. Cloud State University, which they completed in 1998.
