Tim O'Reilly

Tim O'Reilly is the founder and CEO of O'Reilly Media, a leading global technology and business learning company. Tim has been a driving force in the development of the open source software movement, and is a strong advocate for the role of technology in solving social and environmental problems. Tim is a member of the boards of directors of Code for America, MySQL, Macromedia, and the Open Source Applications Foundation. Tim is also a partner in O'Reilly Ventures, an early stage investment fund, and a co-founder and board member of Safari Books Online, LLC.
