Aparna Roy is a seasoned professional in the fields of climate change and development, currently serving as a Fellow and Lead at the Observer Research Foundation since January 2017. Previously, Aparna held positions as an Associate Fellow at the same organization and as an Executive Officer at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry from September 2013 to September 2015. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Common Cause from November 2010 to August 2013 and a research study on Women Self Help Groups at Ballarpur Industries Limited in 2010. An early internship in May 2009 took place at Deepalaya, focusing on an Institutional Care Project. Aparna's academic background includes a Master of Science in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Bristol, a Master of Arts in Sociology from the Institute of Social Sciences, a postgraduate study in International Law and Diplomacy from The Indian Society of International Laws, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Delhi University.
