Simon Watt

Simon Watt is a seasoned professional in the music technology industry, currently advising Mixcloud on their architecture and business model since 2016. They previously held multiple roles at Orfium, where they contributed to product growth and rights management strategies. Simon served as the Head of Technology for Universal Music Group, leading a team responsible for major technology deals and establishing a data science center. Earlier in their career, they made significant contributions as the Director of Research at ARM, where they invented TrustZone technology. Simon earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.
