Cathy Bates

Cathy Bates has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to talent acquisition and human resources. Cathy is currently serving as a Senior Talent Specialist at Organogenesis, where they have been working since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at the same company from August 2021 to November 2022.

From January 2018 to August 2021, Cathy worked as the System Director Talent Acquisition at Central Maine Healthcare. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Carroll Enterprises, Inc. from July 2016 to December 2017.

Their experience also includes working at Commonwealth Care Alliance, where they held the positions of Director Talent Acquisition from March 2014 to July 2016, and Human Resources Business Partner from April 2012 to February 2014.

Cathy started their career at CVS Caremark Corporation in 1987, where they worked as a Manager for seven years. Cathy then moved on to Manpower as a Branch Manager from 1994 to 1997, and later joined CDI as a Manager from 1997 to 1998.

In the early 2000s, Cathy worked as the VP of Administration at Scient Federal Credit Union from February 2006 to July 2011. Cathy then joined American Eagle Federal Credit Union as an HR Generalist from October 1998 to February 2006.

Cathy also had a brief stint as a Human Resources-Consultant at Women's Health USA from November 2011 to March 2012.

Cathy Bates completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Management from Nichols College, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Talent Development and Retention from Hartford College for Women. Cathy also earned a Strategic Workforce Planning Certificate from the Human Capital Institute. Lastly, Cathy received a Certificate in Human Resources Management, specializing in Human Resources Management and Services, from Saint Joseph College.
