Area Director Of Sales at Organogenesis

Ed Jackson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Ed started their career as a Sales Representative at Medical Frontiers in 1984. Afterwards, they worked as an Executive Sales Specialist at Dow B Hickam Pharmaceuticals from 1985 to 1991, promoting burn and wound care products and receiving the Top 10% of Sales force Presidential Award.

Ed then joined Novartis in 1991, initially as a Professional Medical Representative in the Ciba Division until 1997, where they were awarded the President's Club for Sales Performance. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Tissue Engineering / Immunology Specialist, promoting Apligraf for venous and diabetic leg ulcers and Neoral for plague psoriasis. In 1998, they briefly served as a District Manager in the Sandoz / Geigy Division and then as the Western Area Manager in the Immunology Division until 1999, leading and directing an eleven member contractual sales force.

Afterwards, Ed resumed their previous position at Novartis as a Tissue Engineering Specialst / Immunology Specialist from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they were one of the elite eleven sales specialists tasked with launching Apligraf for venous leg and diabetic foot ulcers, as well as promoting Neoral for plague psoriasis.

In 2004, Ed began working at Organogenesis Inc., where they held multiple roles. Ed started as a Tissue Engineering Specialist until 2005, before becoming a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, they played a pivotal role in building the sales organization for nearly 1/3 of the nation, successfully recruiting, training, and coaching high-performing sales specialists and new managers. Eventually, they were promoted to the position of Area Director of Sales, a position they hold to the present day.

Ed Jackson attended St Xavier High School from 1975 to 1979. Ed then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Nutrition at The Ohio State University from 1979 to 1984. Later, from 1999 to 2001, Ed Jackson undertook Executive and Leadership coursework at Xavier University.
