Robert Essner

Robert “Bob” Essner is the former Chairman, President and CEO of Wyeth, LLC, a global pharmaceuticals company with a substantial women’s health division acquired by Pfizer Inc. in 2009. Prior to joining Wyeth, Mr. Essner held senior roles at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Since 2009, Mr. Essner has served as a Senior Advisor of Global Healthcare for The Carlyle Group Inc. He also serves as an Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor of Business at Columbia Business School.
