Emir Demić

Emir Demić has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Emir began their career as a Research Intern at the University of Cambridge in 2019. Emir then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Petnica Science Center from 2019 to 2021. In 2020, they joined EyeSee as a Junior Data Analyst, where they remained until 2021. Emir then moved on to Orgnostic, starting as a Junior Data Scientist in August 2021 and transitioning to the role of Data Scientist in March 2022.

Emir Demić completed their Master of Arts in Research Psychology from the University of Belgrade from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Research Psychology from the same university from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Emir has obtained several certifications. Emir completed courses such as "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization, and Optimization", "Structuring Machine Learning Projects", "Neural Networks and Deep Learning", and "Mathematics for Machine Learning - Calculus" from DeepLearning.AI and Coursera. Emir also completed courses on "Elements of the Command Line" from Dataquest, "IBM - Machine Learning with Python" from Coursera, "Machine Learning - Andrew Ng" from Coursera, and "Statistical Learning" from edX.

Furthermore, Emir acquired certifications in various data analysis and visualization tools and techniques. Emir completed courses such as "Extreme Gradient Boosting with XGBoost", "Linear Classifiers in Python", "Machine Learning with Tree-Based Methods in Python", "Advanced SQL for Data Analysis", "Exploratory Data Visualization", "IBM - Databases and SQL for Data Science", "Intermediate SQL for Data Analysis", "Pandas and NumPy Fundamentals", "Mathematics for Machine Learning - Linear Algebra", "SQL Fundamentals" and "SQL & Database Design", from platforms like DataCamp, Dataquest.io, SuperDataScience, and Coursera. Emir also obtained a certification in Tableau 2018 from SuperDataScience.
