Chris Galloway

Chris Galloway has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chris is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Ori since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as the Deputy Chief Engineer from May 2022 to August 2022. From September 2020 to May 2022, Chris held the position of Principal Engineer - Infrastructure at Ori.

Before joining Ori, Chris worked at Broadcom Inc. as a Senior Solution Design Engineer & Manager, GTSO from November 2019 to September 2020. Chris gained considerable experience in solution engineering and management during their tenure at Broadcom.

Chris has also been associated with Symantec for a significant duration. Chris started as a 3rd Line Senior Linux Infrastructure Systems Engineer in April 2010 and was later promoted to the role of 3rd Line Principal Infrastructure Systems Engineer in October 2013. Chris'sresponsibilities included ensuring the stability, performance, and health of Symantec's global infrastructure. Chris also played a support lead role for Symantec projects and focused on proactive infrastructure event reduction through automation.

Prior to Symantec, Chris worked at Messagelabs Ltd and MessageLabs in roles related to secure messaging services. Chris gained experience in implementing secure communication arrangements and email encryption implementations.

Early in their career, Chris worked at Fasthosts Internet Ltd as a Technical Support Advisor, where they resolved customer problems and provided support for the company's products and services. Chris also worked at Halfords as a Deputy Store Manager, where they were responsible for setting and monitoring targets, managing the store's budget, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Chris Galloway attended the University of Hull from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (hons) degree in Internet Computing. In March 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
