Vasilios Appios

Vasilios Appios has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2022. In 2011, they worked as an Engineering Trainee at Carlsberg Group, where they implemented process optimisation through recording lag times of key equipment within the bottling plant. In 2015, they worked as an Internship at ExxonMobil Cyprus, where they gained an insight in the fuels market by working in and alongside various teams of experienced individuals in the downstream oil and gas industry. Also in 2015, they started working at Pall Corporation as a Project Manager - Single Use Hardware, leading and successfully executing various high value projects for the delivery of technically complex (mechanical, electrical and software) equipment into the Biopharmaceutical industry. In 2021, they joined Siemens as a Project Manager, managing multiple, high value projects, focused on the digitalisation of specific process operations within an online, turnkey solution. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Ori Biotech as a Project Manager - Customer Programmes.

Vasilios Appios attended The Falcon School from 2001 to 2008, earning a High School Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Vasilios then attended the University of Surrey from 2010 to 2014, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering.
