Jake Small

Jake Small has been with Orica since January 2015, currently serving as the Technical Services Manager, where responsibilities include managing a team of over 15 engineers and technicians to enhance the safety and efficiency of explosives use in the Southeast metals region. Previously held roles at Orica include Senior Technical Services Engineer (Lead) for underground, quarries, and construction, Technical Services Engineer focused on underground applications, and Blasting Engineer in the NSW Quarries and Construction team. Jake Small began his career at Orica as a Technical Services Student Engineer in various capacities from 2011 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from UNSW, completed in 2014, and a Higher School Certificate from Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, obtained in 2008.
