John Cooper

John Cooper is an accomplished executive in the mining and consulting industries with extensive leadership experience at Orica, where roles have included Group Executive and President North America and Vice President across various divisions. Prior to Orica, John Cooper served as a consultant at Bain & Company, where analytical and management responsibilities were pivotal. Previously, John Cooper acted as Mine Manager for Barrick Gold Corporation, managing a large workforce and overseeing significant operational turnarounds. Engineering expertise was developed at Minerals and Metals Group and earlier in a part-time capacity with Oxiana and the Land Engineering Agency Department of Defence.
