Tim Armitstead

Tim Armitstead is an experienced professional with a strong background in product, process, and implementation support within the explosives industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Product, Process and Implementation Support at Orica since November 2021, Tim previously held positions as Senior Product, Process and Implementation Support Superintendent, and Manufacturing and Products Manager at Hanwha Corporation. Tim's earlier tenure at Orica includes roles as Operations Superintendent and various support positions, highlighting expertise in leading teams, ensuring safety and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland, and two MBAs, one from Queensland University of Technology and another from MIT Sloan School of Management, specializing in Entrepreneurship.
