Viney Kumar

Viney Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as the General Manager at Orica's Kooragang Island facility in Newcastle since October 2010. Viney Kumar has held various leadership roles within Orica, including Site General Manager and Regional Manufacturing Manager for Asia, having first joined the company in 1996. Previous positions include Factory Manager for both Orica and Indian Explosives Limited, along with roles at ICI India and SRF Limited. Viney Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, earned between 1989 and 1993.
