Deepak Gupta

Deepak Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in various roles. Deepak most recently served as President Projects at Orient Cement, where they were responsible for driving greenfield and brownfield projects and overseeing capacity expansion projects. Prior to that, they worked at Ambuja Cements Limited as Project Head and Senior VP Project Holcim India, managing multiple projects and ensuring continuity in supplies and construction during the COVID-19 pandemic. Deepak also served as Vice President Projects at ACC Limited, leading plant performance improvement campaigns and overseeing various projects. Deepak has held the position of Head Plant Operation at Acc Cement, where they efficiently managed plant operations and implemented international best practices. Deepak has extensive experience in the cement industry, including working as a Project Manager at Lafarge Asia and Lafarge India Ltd, where they handled greenfield projects and conducted due diligence activities. Deepak also worked as a Senior Manager Internal Audit at Lafarge India Ltd, focusing on internal control measures and risks assessment. Early in their career, they served as an Assistant Manager at Tata Steel and as an Engineer at Grasim Industries Limited (Aditya Birla Group).

Deepak Gupta studied at NIT Raipur from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
