Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amit currently holds the position of Head of Business Operations at Orient Electric, a role they have held since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Bata India Ltd. from October 2011 to February 2019 as the Franchise Operations Manager, where they were responsible for managing new franchise openings and operations in North & East India, as well as dealer and vendor business. Before that, Amit served as the Sr. Area Manager at The Loot India (P) Ltd. from March 2007 to September 2011, overseeing the operations of 38 outlets in 16 cities and managing a team of assistant managers and store managers. Amit also has experience as a Store Manager at Pepe Jeans London from May 2005 to February 2007 and at adidas from September 2003 to April 2005. Prior to these roles, Amit started their career as a Management Trainee at Devendra Bhatnagar & Sons from February 2003 to August 2003.

Amit Kumar attended Vinoba Bhave University in Hazaribagh from 1998 to 2002. Amit pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Honors.
