Tim Kruger is a highly experienced professional in the field of environmental science and carbon management. As the Founder and Chief Scientist of Origen Power since June 2013, Kruger has focused on developing technologies to capture and remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In addition, Kruger co-founded Carbon Gap in March 2023, serving as Trustee and Chair of the Advisory Board to guide Europe towards becoming a leader in carbon removal initiatives. As a Co-Founder and Director of DryGro, Kruger has been instrumental in creating technology for sustainable biomass production in arid climates. Kruger's involvement with the Oxford Geoengineering Programme as an Oxford Martin Fellow, following a role as Director of the Oxford Geoengineering Institute, highlights a commitment to assessing geoengineering’s potential in combating climate change. Previous roles include founding Cquestrate to research carbon dioxide reduction techniques, working as a Management Consultant at Corven, serving as Innovation Manager at Shell, and holding a directorial position at Eternal Weave.
