Fred Godfrey

Fred Godfrey is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and life sciences sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of Origin since July 2019, Godfrey leads an award-winning Creative Technology company that specializes in dynamic CTV ad formats. In addition, Godfrey serves as an advisor for Cardea Bio Inc. and Nanomed, contributing expertise to companies specializing in digital biosensors and drug discovery technologies, respectively. Previous roles include Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at The E.W. Scripps Company, where Godfrey secured high-profile distribution partnerships, and Director of Publisher Development at Magnite, where Godfrey successfully launched a new SSP in the premium video ad industry. Godfrey co-founded Gablit, created an online bicycle company, and started at JING Tea. Godfrey holds a Master's Degree in Moral and Political Philosophy from St. Andrews University.
