Vice President at Origin

Corey Labor, PMP, has extensive experience in project management and leadership roles. Corey began their career in 1992 as a Logistics Specialist in the US Army. Following their military service, Corey worked as a Service Coordinator at Vertek Corporation, managing provisioning projects for data and voice communication infrastructure. Corey later became a Manager at Vertek, responsible for overall project management and personnel management.

In 2004, Corey joined Systems and Software as a Senior Implementation Consultant and then transitioned into the role of Project Manager, leading complex CIS implementations for utility companies. Corey successfully managed projects for various clients, including Clarksville Gas and Water, Detroit Water and Sewerage, and City of Atlanta.

In 2012, Corey joined Green Mountain Power as a Project Manager for their Smart Grid implementation and merger portfolio management. Corey provided project management and leadership to achieve integration goals and synergies.

Corey then moved to Origin in 2014, where they held multiple leadership roles. Corey served as a Project Director, overseeing project and program implementation, and as a Practice Director, responsible for P&L management and delivering services to clients. Corey then became a Group Vice President and ultimately a Vice President at Origin, leading teams and ensuring revenue and contribution margin attainment.

Throughout their career, Corey has demonstrated deep industry knowledge, delivering guidance to clients and developing opportunities for professional service engagements. Corey is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and brings a wealth of experience in managing complex projects, overseeing vendor relationships, and achieving successful project execution and delivery.

Corey Labor, PMP completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Lyndon State College between 1995 and 1998. Additionally, Corey obtained certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. The specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
