Hector Castaneda

Hector Castaneda has accumulated a robust portfolio of experience in the construction and architectural engineering fields, currently serving as Project Manager at ORIGIN Construction since October 2014, after initially joining the company as Assistant Project Manager. Additionally, Hector holds the position of VP of Communications for the IIDA South Florida Chapter since July 2019. Previous roles include MEP Systems Drafting Intern at Energy Sciences, Inc., where skills in energy consumption and fire protection system design were developed, and a Student Assistant at the University of Miami, managing administrative tasks for the Vice President for Student Affairs office. Hector also completed a summer internship at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, focusing on construction management during the Regal Broward Stadium 12 project. Hector earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami and an Associate of Arts in Architectural Engineering from Miami Dade College.
