John Parnaby possesses extensive expertise in asset management, planning, and maintenance systems within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Asset Master Data & Maintenance Systems Specialist at Origin Energy since June 2022, John oversees asset master data changes and ensures regulatory compliance through effective scheduling and resource management. Prior roles at Origin Energy included Business Process SME for ERP implementation, Scheduler/Planner for Spring Gully & Denison Assets, Central Planning Lead, and Lead Operations Planner. Between February 2012 and August 2014, John was a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler for Bulwer Island Energy, where responsibilities included outage planning for a cogeneration power station. Additional experience encompasses project management at Tui Industries, mechanical fitting at Tyco Water, and mechanical technician responsibilities at Dreamworld. John holds two Associate Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering from TAFE NSW.
