Les Jenkinson

Les Jenkinson is a highly experienced geologist with a robust background in exploration, appraisal, and production technology within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Staff Geologist at Origin Energy since 2010, Les has contributed to geomechanical modeling, image log interpretation, and drilling program optimization across multiple roles, from operations to senior geologist positions. Previous experience includes roles at Santos Ltd and Triassic Geological Services, where geological evaluations and drilling support were key responsibilities. With a Master's degree from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor's degree in Economic Geology from James Cook University, Les combines academic expertise with extensive field experience, underscored by a solid foundation in engineering from a service background in the Australian Army.
